Flat braided copper tapes

Flat braided copper tapes offered by our company are available in two versions: flexible copper tapes and highly flexible copper tapes. The wire diameter used in the braid, as well as the specific braiding pattern, determines its flexibility. Flexible flat copper tapes are made from copper wire with a larger diameter, i.e. 0.20 mm, whereas highly flexible copper tapes require the use of thinner wire in the range of 0.07–0.10 mm. Therefore, when selecting copper tapes for a specific application, it is important to consider the required range and frequency of movement. Both types of flexible flat braided copper tapes are used in the production of grounding tapes and flexible copper connectors applied in various types of electrical machines and equipment. Due to the nature of operation, in all applications where the tape is subjected to frequent bending, tapes made from thinner wire should be used. All copper tapes can be manufactured either in an uncoated version (bare copper) or in a tinned version.
