TUBULAR COPPER BRAID - Application

Tubular coper braid for protecting and shielding cables provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. It is used for shielding signal and control cables of sensors, encoders and servomotors, as well as communication lines (e.g., CAN, RS485, Profibus, Ethernet STP) to reduce electromagnetic disturbances, protect against RFI/EMI and improve signal integrity. It is also applied for shielding audio and video cables, such as microphone cables, Hi‑Fi audio cables, camera leads and vision‑system wiring, eliminating noise and radio‑frequency interference. Copper tubular braids are also widely used for cable protection in automotive and transportation systems, for shielding cables in industrial equipment, and for protecting cables in telecommunications and electronic devices.

TUBULAR COPPER BRAID - construction

The appropriate briad construction ensure a cylindrical braid shape and allow the diameter to be adjusted within a defined range. The wide selection of copper braid sizes enables proper matching to the full range of cable diameters.

TUBULAR COPPER BRAID

The copper shielding braid is a flexible, cylindrical mesh made of fine copper wires, used as an effective protective layer for electrical cables to minimize the risk of electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring signal stability and integrity. Its construction allows the braid to adapt to various cable diameters and expand within a defined range, which simplifies installation and enables precise fitting to signal, control and communication cables such as CAN, RS485, Profibus and Ethernet STP.
